Detroit Bikes (the group, not the company) is hosting a bike ride to help stock little libraries around Detroit.

When: Sunday, May 17 at 10 a.m.

Where: Meet at Preservation Detroit’s Mackenzie House, Cass and Hancock, next to the Hilberry Theatre

Bring a book to place in one of the Little Free Libraries around our town! Kim Kozlowski of Little Free Libraries will join the ride.  Suggest you bring a couple of books - books you like! - to place in one of the libraries. Children’s books, particularly ethnic books, preferred.

The ride will last about 2 hours and cover 10 to 15 miles. Relaxed pace suitable for all levels. Helmets yes! No amplified music or whistles. See you Sunday! We’ll meet in front of Preservation Detroit’s Mackenzie House, next to the Hilberry Theatre. Oh, and the ride is free!
